A good wedding website brief tells the designer who needs the site, what each guest must do and when the information has to be ready.
In this guide
Describe the guest groups · Share references with a reason · Decide what can change · Define the deliverables
Describe the guest groups
List the people receiving the link and the events each group can attend. If a family group should see a smaller ceremony, say so before the schedule is designed.
Share references with a reason
Send three references and note the detail you want from each. A photograph might give you the light you like, while a printed card gives you the lettering.
Decide what can change
Mark dates and venue names as confirmed or provisional. Assign a person who can approve changes after launch.
Define the deliverables
Include ownership of the domain, what happens after the celebration, photography permissions, languages, the RSVP scope and what handover includes.
